The following frequently asked questions provide additional information about the campaign, its priorities, and opportunities to support its goals.

What are the goals of this campaign?

The campaign focuses on three priorities that will strengthen Episcopal ministry across Western Oregon:

  • Supporting Congregations and Clergy, $2 million: Establish a permanent endowment to provide long-term support for congregations that need consistent priestly leadership.
  • Youth & Campus Ministry, $3 million: Expand ministry with young people and college students, including a new Episcopal Ministry House at the University of Oregon and dedicated campus ministers at University of Oregon, Oregon State University and Western Oregon University.
  • Shared Infrastructure, $1 million: Create a new Diocesan Support Center in Oregon City to provide resources, services, gathering space, and support for congregations and ministries throughout the diocese.
Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes. The Episcopal Church in Western Oregon will provide a tax receipt for your charitable contribution. Receipts for gifts made online will be sent to the email address provided at the time of the donation.
