Strengthening the Foundation for Ministry

The Diocese exists to support and connect congregations and ministries across Western Oregon.

Why a New Support Center

A strong, accessible center for shared ministry helps ensure that congregations across Western Oregon have the resources, relationships and support they need to thrive. The new Diocesan Support Center in historic Oregon City near City Hall will provide space for diocesan leadership, clergy and lay gatherings, training, collaboration and connection, while serving as a hub for essential resources and services.

From communications, administration, clergy transitions, property and financial support, and lay leadership development to chaplaincy, pastoral education and bilingual outreach, the Diocesan Support Center helps strengthen ministry throughout the diocese. By investing in this shared resource, we are creating a place that connects people, equips congregations, and strengthens our collective ability to carry out the mission of the Church.
